Under-Seat Fuel Tank

Picture
Under-seat fuel tank, for Series II, IIa & III 88”, or short wheelbase, but NOT for 109 station wagon models. This is a nearly-new Genuine Land-Rover tank and it WILL fit all 109 two-and-three-door models, except the ambulance, as well as all short-wheelbase models, both petrol and diesel, right- and left-hand drive. This tank is in exceptionally fine condition. Nearly spotless inside with NO signs of rust whatever. Excellent original extension fill tube, with perfect screen and fill cap, with original and uncorroded chain. These are unavailable from Land-Rover and ones this good were last produced more than a decade ago. This is an early tank, with the superlative, more recessed, slotted drain plug, rather than the later, more exposed hex plug, which was so prone to off-road damage. There is absolutely NO delaminating of the bottom of this tank, the trait of a tank that is starting to go bad.
