1973 Series III Pickup

1973 Series III Land-Rover has recently been treated to an extensive refit, with fresh rear body tub, exceptional Genuine Land-Rover rear tailgate, fresh and crisp pickup cab and canvas top, all new seats, 3-point inertial safety harnesses, low-mileage MICHELINS, fresh fuel tank, freshly powder coated wheels, WARN M-11 freewheel hubs, all new (interior and exterior) paint and much more. More than 100 hours spent on the recent work, or approximately $8,000.00 in labor alone. More than $35,000.00 has been invested in this exceptional machine. Fitted with four-cylinder petrol engine, standard four wheel drive, and the legendary SALISBURY ¾-tonne rear axle. Rust is often asked about, but this vehicle is exceptional in that respect. The rear body tub was soda blasted to bare aluminum and then correctly etched and resprayed in the original factory Limestone color. All work done within the last few hundred miles. This machine attracts considerable interest wherever it is seen. Almost certainly among the nicest pickups anywhere. Genuine reason for sale: recent purchase of new home with limited garage space
