1971 Series IIA Safari Station Wagon

Dare Britannia, Ltd. is proud to present to prospective purchasers this 1971 Land-Rover Series IIA 109 12-passenger Safari Station Wagon. This exceptional vehicle has 14,000 documented miles since new and was originally produced to Ambulance configuration.  It is loaded with recent equipment, all professionally installed by the importer, the winner of 60 international restoration prizes. Quite possibly the most exceptional 109 Safari Wagon available anywhere today.


1.           Dual anti-sway bars, front and rear

2.           3/4 –ton/ 1–ton chassis with raised, military spring shackles, fitted to 1-ton positions

3.           SALISBURY rear axle, fitted with heavy-duty military half shafts, with approximately 4-5,000 miles since new

4.           All new axle-based brake hydraulics, with original equipment cylinders

5.           All new master cylinders, both brake and clutch, Genuine Rover or Original Equipment

6.           New rear propeller shaft for line item 3, above
